Rappi registers 100% increase in supermarket order in 2020

Delivery expert company grows in the Great São Paulo area and bets on outsourcing tasks 

In 2020, Rappi has registered an increase of 100% in the number of orders made in the Greater São Paulo area for online shopping in supermarkets, as well as in pharmacy and beverage sectors. According to Rappi’s regional director in São Paulo, Tijana Jankovic, the company also registered an increase of 121% in e-commerce order, mainly because of the social distancing and migration of local establishments to the delivery format. 

In the face of this scenario, Rappi will continue improving its collaborations and promotional actions in the Greater São Paulo area. In order to create easiness, convenience and save time for the consumers, the company is betting on outsourcing daily tasks to attract more and more Brazilians.
