Study carried out by the benefits company shows that 34% of the users are shopping in supermarkets
According to Ticket, online purchases made from their system in Brazilian supermarkets, have increased since the beginning the pandemic. A survey carried out by the company with 12 thousand users of the Ticket Alimentação service, shows that 66% are buying online, with 34% buying specifically from supermarkets.
Among the users participating in the survey, 10% have no intentions to keep buying on the internet, while 52% guarantee to continue to shop for groceries in the digital environment. Moreover, among those consumers who have changed the way they shop for food during the pandemic, 48% changed for online shopping.
For 50% of the participants, the most favorable factor for shopping online, are the promotions created by the supermarkets. On the other hand, the shipping fees are the biggest issue, followed by the high prices of products and by the trust in the quality of products that are sold on the internet. On another survey carried out by Ticket, made with commercial establishments, 44% of the owners had an increase in payments made with Ticket’s benefits during the pandemic.
