NAUTA product line arrives at chain’s supermarkets of all formats in Brazil, with six bottle labels and five can labels
Craft beer consumption growth is calling the attention of new players in this market, and the new one to enter the beer realm is the Carrefour chain. The French retailer has developed six bottle labels and five different can labels of their own brand NAUTA, in partnership with the brewery from Paraná, Way Beer, and the Startup Brewing plant.
According to Allan Gate, Own Brand Trade Director of Grupo Carrefour Brasil, the search for craft beer is increasing and the consumer is interested in buying good quality beers. The labels in bottles of 600 ml offer as options, Bohemian Pilsner, with a recipe from the Czech Republic; Indian Pale Ale, based on a beer recipe from the United States; Irish Red Ale (Irish recipe); Weissbier (German recipe); Blond Ale (Belgium beer recipe); and Amburana Ale (Brazilian recipe).
The option of canned beer offer to the customer aromatic beers, with grape juice, light-bodied and full-bodied beers, with less alcohol and dark beers. Customers will find these products in all store formats of the Carrefour chain and, despite being new in Brazil; the company already offers their own beer brands in countries as Spain, France and Belgium.
