Former president of APAS between 2010 and 2014, João Galassi hopes to contribute with the institutional strengthening of the association and make it a reference
The Brazilian Supermarket Association already has the name of its new president for the 2021/2022 biennium, João Galassi, who has experience as president of APAS (Associação Paulista de Supermercados) between 2010 and 2014. Galassi was unanimously elected during the General Meeting held on November 30 with the presence of the entity’s directors.
The new ABRAS president was born in Campinas, graduated in Business Administration from PUC and MBA in People Management from Fundação Getúlio Vargas (FGV). “It is a great honor to preside over the Brazilian Supermarket Association and to be able to contribute with the strengthening of this entity, which is so representative in the business scenario of the country”, he said during the general meeting.
The main goal, according to the new president, is to work for the evolution and competitiveness of the business environment in Brazil and contribute with the institutional strengthening of ABRAS as a reference in sector association and professional training.
