Partnership with Brink’s Pay, a financial management platform focused on retail, facilitates transactions during the pandemic
PicPay is keeping up with the plan of innovating and searching alternatives to facilitate business between consumers and companies, especially during the pandemic time, we are experiencing. The startup established a partnership with Brink’s so Picpay’s users are able to withdraw and deposit directly in supermarket checkouts. Over 230 thousand stores all over Brazil will be offering the service along with Brink’s Pay chain, a financial management platform created for retail companies.
Starting in October, the user will be able to use the app’s geolocation, which is connected to stores in 2,600 cities of the country, in order to find the nearest point of sale. The function will be available in the app, and the user have only to show the QR Code that PicPay’s system generated to the store employee to complete the transaction.
Moreover, the service includes payments, buying credits for cellphones, transportation and money transfer. To the participating businesses, the advantage is on the safety in handling cash and, consequently, on the money transportation, for instance.
