When launching the online sales platform in January, the logistics counted on three cities before the demand growth with the pandemic
The pandemic is accelerating the digital transformation of many companies in the supermarket sector and Pague Menos chain is one of them. Planning to attend three cities in the state of São Paulo from its online sales platform, launched in January, the company had to change plans in the face of e-commerce demand that came with social isolation.
The planned online sales system coverage included the cities of Americana, Nova Odessa and Sumaré, and was expanded to all cities in which it operates, as well as to neighboring cities that participates in the weekly delivery system. Online sales growth also has as one of its pillars, usability and inclusion proposed by the e-commerce system.
