First KW’us Store was installed in a condominium in Rio Preto and the company plans to open ten points of sale until the end of the year
Residential condominiums in the city of Rio Preto, in São Paulo, are on the radar of KW’us Store supermarkets as potential location for their future unities. The 100% automated stores are planned and designed for condominiums and count on sections such as produce, dairy, meat, beverages, care and others. The first store is open 24hs in the Figueira I condominium, with three more unities planned to Gaivota II, Damha VI and Recanto do Lago condominiums.
The company aims at ending the year of 2020 with ten KW’us supermarkets, and currently works with 630 brands, stocking up to 10 thousand items. In order to keep the shelves always supplied, the smart inventory informs what shelf needs refilled as well as expiration dates and what are the best selling products in the store.
By the end of the journey, the consumer scans the products to register the purchase and pays to an automated system. In spite of not having employees in the store, the operation can guide customers from a system of cameras installed in the point of sale that is remotely operated.
