Carried out by APAS, survey shows an increase in the period between January and May 2020, and 90% of entrepreneurs are optimist in keeping the staff
Considering the period between the months of January and May 2020, supermarkets in São Paulo had 7% increase in sales. When comparing May 2020 to the same month of last year, it shows a 12% growth in commercial transactions. Numbers are from a survey carried out by the Associação Paulista de Supermercados (APAS), which considered establishments that are operating for at least 12 months.
According to the monthly confidence survey, carried out by APAS, 16% of managers are optimists in relation to the month of July, against 30% in the previous month. The study also indicates that 90% of the sector’s entrepreneurs believe in keeping the current staff, and shows that for Father’s Day, there are expectations for a small growth, 0.5% in relation to last year.
