Supermarket chain anticipates orders and buys three times more of these items, making them available in all stores
Pão de Açúcar started a project to stimulate microbrewery industry by supporting small Brazilian producers. Called “Incentive uma Microcervejaria” (support a microbrewery), the main goal is to stir the production and keep these companies running as sales decrease due to social isolation.
For that reason, Pão de Açúcar has tripled the volume they regularly buy from these microbreweries, anticipating the order of over 200,000 bottles. Pão de Açúcar Mais rewards program is offering 25% discount in all participating brands for registered customers.
The action runs until July 15 or while supply last, and includes all Pão de Açúcar, Minuto Pão de Açúcar, Pão de Açúcar Adega stores, as well as the company’s e-commerce and the delivery partner app, James. The offer includes 62 different brands, from 10 Brazilian microbreweries.
