Pão de Açúcar chain’s private label attracts couples with the intention of having children for the adoption of abandoned dogs and cats
To promote its new line of premium products for pets, Qualitá, a private label of the Pão de Açúcar chain, has innovated by using dogs and cats available for adoption as stars of the campaign. The action carried out in partnership with BETC/Havas has a tool that suggests couples to know the characteristics of a future child, but the result shows the image of a pet that is ready to be part of the family.
From the photo upload of a person’s home, the tool displays one of the animals available for adoption that best matches the couple’s profile. The main goal of this action by Qualitá is to call the attention of consumers in the supermarket chain to the animal cause and minimize the impact of abandonment, which, according to the World Health Organization, exceeds 30 million in Brazil. Couples interested in meeting their future puppy may access the link and follow the instructions.
