Foodtech with more than 5,500 partnerships in Brazil develops beet, pea, chickpea and soybean based product
The room for food of vegetable origin is becoming increasingly prominent in supermarket shelves. One of the pioneering companies in this type of healthy eating is Fazenda Futuro, which prepares the launch of Almôndega do Futuro (Future Meatball in English), a product that is already part of the Spoleto franchise menu, and now reaches the supermarkets of Pão de Açúcar chain.
Foodtech’s newest product is available to the consumer in GPA stores, but will soon be found in other points of sale. Like the hamburger and the vegetable ground meat created by the startup, the meatball is developed from the mixture of beets, peas, chickpeas and soybeans.
Since April last year, Fazenda Futuro has been focusing on the production of foods with texture, flavor and succulence similar to animal products, but without any animal origin. Currently, the foodtech has more than 5,500 partnerships with establishments throughout the country.
