Partnership between the two supermarket chains promotes changes in 17 stores of the French group, located in the state capital, Belo Horizonte
After closing a partnership with a gourmet supermarket chain, the Carrefour Bairro stores in Minas Gerais will now be called “Super Nosso”, as the homonymous group, which is present in 17 stores of the Greater Belo Horizonte Area. The partnership goal is to reinforce the business model and unite the expertise from both chains to offer a differentiated shopping experience to the consumers in the state.
With the partnership, Carrefour starts to operate according to Super Nosso chain’s management model and, in return Super Nosso will be able to absorb the strength and innovation solutions already used by the Carrefour Group in Brazil. “When we bring together know-how, we enhance even more the relationship with customers and leverage strengths together”, says Luis Moreno, CEO of Retail of Grupo Carrefour Brasil.
Acknowledgement and expectation
In addition to contribute with the regional expansion of the Super Nosso chain, the partnership with Carrefour brings more knowledge on the habits of consumers from Minas Gerais. Conversely, according to the CEO of Grupo Super Nosso, Euler Nejm, this initiative shows international acknowledgement in relation to the brand’s worth and the quality of the chain’s management.
Grupo Super Nosso expectations are to expand its market and reinforce the company’s brand since the partnership with Carrefour will practically, double the number of stores in the capital of Minas Gerais, as well as expand the reach with new neighborhood stores that were not in the chain’s operation area.
