Rock Star receives the public present at the Rock in Rio with activations that allude to Extra and Pão de Açúcar banners’ rewards programs
Supermarkets also enjoy the music festivals to reach their consumer with actions that strengthens the relationship between customer and brand. GPA gathered the physical and digital environments to offer experience to the customer of Extra and Pão de Açúcar banners, which are supporting the festival in 2019.
The action’s main goal is to reinforce the digital transformation in which both brands are involved and, for that reason, created the Rock Start area where the public in the City of Rock will be invited to participate in games that suggest the “My Prizes” function, found on each banners’ apps.
As on the Clube Extra and Pão de Açúcar Mais platforms, the user can claim for prizes when reaching purchasing goals. In addition to the games, the Rock Start participants are able to spend some time playing Guitar Hero or Just Dance while they recharge their cellphones in specific places in the area. By the end of the activation, the participants receive one star that can be exchanged for any free prize in any of the chains’ stores.
