The platform offers the possibility of accumulating points instead of receiving change back and awards customers in weekly draws
Super Troco’s platform has arrived at supermarkets. Founded in 2014 to avoid financial losses and friction with customers, the startup saw the opportunity of investing in the supermarket industry in 2018 in order to expand the business. Starting now, the customer who pay for groceries in one of the participating chains, has the option of transforming his or her change into points that will be directly credited in their account, using their Taxpayer number.
The accumulated amount can be exchanged for products and services in the platform; it can be transferred to other rewards program, used in donations or spent in the supermarkets. Customers are free for acquiring more points, and they also participate in weekly draws with up to 100 winners and a maximum prize of up to R$ 500,000.
In order to participate, the customers need to inform their Taxpayer number at the checkout. In addition to minimizing friction due to lack of change, Super Troco can help to improve customer loyalty to the store, because of the accumulated points benefit and for the prizes. Currently, the service is available in large retail chains in Brazil, with a strong operation in the Southeast, North and Northeast regions. Click here to learn more.
