The Group is developing the Aliado Mini Mercado e-commerce to facilitate and expedite orders in the cities of the Greater São Paulo area
The technology used in supermarkets to meet the customer demands has expanded to the backstage of the industry. A recent example was the launching of a GPA’s online platform aimed at doing business with small and medium-sized businesses.
In addition to reinforce the investment in these formats, the B2B e-commerce expands the coverage of the Aliado Mini Mercado, aimed at supplying neighborhood markets, bars and restaurants. The project’s goal is to make more practical and quicker the restocking process of traders, with a platform to order in few minutes as well as consulting products, price and stock in real time. The platform also provides access to the entire portfolio of the GPA’s Qualitá brand, free delivery in up to 72 hours in the Greater São Paulo area and payment with credit card.
GPA has closed a partnership with Menu.com.vc, a startup expert in B2B e-commerces to develop the purchasing website. Until the end of the year, the company expects to reach 10% of the sales in this new digital environment.
The model works with a free registration in the platform, in order to have access to the shopping lists suggested according to each company’s profile. New clients registered in the website will have 5% discount in the first purchase, and the platform has a customer service with an online chat and telephone number.
