Carrefour is offering payment by approximation for customers with the chain’s credit card

Paying for your groceries in a supermarket without having to pick your credit card from your pocket is more common in advertisements and sci-fi movies, right? Yes, but only for customers who do not have the
Carrefour Credit Card.

Carrefour Soluções Financeiras just established a partnership with the Samsung Pay system for the chain’s mobile payments. The option is already available for the Carrefour Credit Card of the MasterCard brand and works for all stores of the French giant.

With this technology, the customers will authorize the purchases from their own smartphones and even smartwatches without needing to use the physical card. To do so, the Samsung Pay only needs the password
or the user’s digital print in order to validate the transaction.

Agility in the payments

According to the Senior Manager of Samsung Pay in Brazil, Paulo César do Nascimento, the initiative reinforces the brand’s commitment with the customer and enhances its presence in the daily routine of the people
with simple and safe solutions.

Following the steps of great international retailers, which invest strongly in technology to ease and improve the customer experience, Carrefour Soluções Financeiras emphasizes the strategy of bringing innovation to their customers, this time with a quicker way of making payments.

“The customer which have the MasterCard Carrefour Credit Card, can already make payments by approximation, in our stores or in any business partner”, stated Carlos Mauad, CEO of Carrefour Soluções Financeiras.
