The company’s stand at APAS Show 2019 showed equipment versatility to the visitors
In the hallways of the world’s biggest supermarket event, a machine presented to the APAS Show 2019 visitors the different kinds of bread that the equipment is able to make. Prática demonstrated their equipment running, with all the ease that the supermarket managers have when they choose the company’s machines.
According to the company’s director, Milton Machado, their presence in the APAS Show stand helped to show to managers how they can produce food with more quality and no waste. “We count on industry 4.0 productivity tools, applied to manufacture state-of-the-art equipment and implementing solutions for the supermarkets”, Mr. Machado says.
One of the Prática’s main advantages, according to Machado, is that the equipment can be adjusted to produce in greater scales without modifying the original recipe. “We try to manufacture more quickly aiming at being a tool for our clients, so they can make good food without waste”, Machado explains.
Solutions in technology and productivity
Prática is a supplier of state-of-the-art machines and is present at Brazilian retail giants operations, such as Carrefour and GPA. The company supplies cafeteria equipment for the Pão de Açúcar stores as well as equipment for producing snacks in the Carrefour Express point of sales. “There are different automation levels in a mass production line without human intervention, for example. The machine cuts, shapes the dough and, if you want to, it can put it up for freezing”, the Prática director says.
Prática has participated in the APAS Show more than 18 times and, for Mr. Machado, this year the supermarkets should invest again in the deli category, using chicken roasting machine in a more automated way, “In this case, the machines can reduce waste and increase food safety quality, and expedite the production”.
According to the executive, the supermarket industry represents up to 35% of the company’s revenue and not only the big chains are betting in technological innovation, “I think that regarding innovation in the stores, the small companies has taken the lead in relation to the big chains, last year. We believe in solution with technology and a lot of productivity. That is the way of surviving in this extremely competitive market in which we operate”, Milton Machado states.
