In this presentation, a partnership between APAS and the Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (Apex-Brazil), which will allow for the promotion of business in the international market.
“APAS and Apex formed an unprecedented partnership for international visibility of the APAS Show. With this, the event grew and, now, we have five pavilions, in comparison with the four that we previously had in 2018, beside 75 thousand meters of exhibition and 847 exhibitors, room for closing of business and exclusive attention to the international public. The APAS Show is more robust in its international projection, an even greater challenge with the development of the country and of the industry,” Erlon Ortega, APAS Show Director, celebrates.
The meeting was conducted by Fabiano Bendetti, APAS Marketing and Business Division Manager; Luiz Madi, Technical Director of the Food Technology Institute (Ital); Igor Celeste, Apex-Brazil Market Intelligence Coordinator; Camila Leão, Chief of the Agribusiness and Promotion Division of the Ministry of Foreign Relations; and Ronaldo Tavora, chief economist of Banco do Brasil (Bank of Brazil). All presented a panorama on the economic potential and the capacity of Brazil in closing good business transactions in the international scenario.
However, in order to grow in a scenario of deceleration of the planet’s major economies, there are measures that Brazil has to adopt. “We have to solve the tax sphere; it is not only a solution by itself. It is a necessary solution to be able to unblock the other agendas, such as that of infrastructure, one of the most important issues in the country. Now in terms of public policies, we also do not believe that the process will be fast to approve the Welfare and Retirement Reform in the first semester. It is a possibility, but the scenario that we find most likely is at the turn of the third to the fourth quarter,” the chief economist of Banco do Brasil calls attention.
